Belly Dance for Beginners class is suitable for newcomers to learn the basics of belly dance in a supportive environment. Join our classes which are ideal for absolute beginners and those with some experience. Regular practice of belly dance will increase core strength, balance, and coordination and can improve confidence. Charlotte’s taste in music is a fantastic mix of world electronic fusion grooves. Egyptian and Arabic classics and Middle-East inspired artists are played alongside some Western vibes. You will leave the class feeling energized and invigorated!

Charlotte’s Belly Dance for Beginners class is undoubtedly body-positive, welcoming, and inclusive. Therefore Charlotte’s classes offer a fantastic way to get fit in a friendly environment while simultaneously learning to use your body to dance freely. Subsequently, Charlotte’s extensive experience means the class is always fun. You will learn traditional dance moves while looking after your body with Charlotte offering exercises and stretches to support your body while learning to Belly Dance.

Charlotte Wassel

Charlotte is an experienced ATS® and Tribal Fusion dancer and teacher. Accordingly, her commitment is to provide quality instruction with a strong technical focus. Co-founder of ATS troupes Ter’zím and Ter’zíMoirai as well as assistant director of Hilde Cannoodt’s Masmoudi Dance Company. Due to being an accomplished solo artist, she performs regularly throughout the UK and internationally.
